I am a graduate of Laurier’s music performance and music education program, and hold a Bachelor of Music (BMus) and Bachelor of Education (BEd). I have experience performing recitals, concerts, opera excerpts, musicals and operas. I continue to improve my musical talents by taking and teaching music lessons, seeking professional opportunities and learning better ways of teaching.
My first priority is to provide a fun and professional environment for all students to find success in music. In the studio, I provide students with the tools to reach their goals. It is my hope to provide opportunities for students to collaborate on music repertoire (duets, trios, etc.) and to develop their musicianship skills (theory, sight singing and ear training).
I am thrilled to be part of the talented team at the Beckett School at Laurier, and I look forward to engage the music community surrounding its doors.
We all grow and move at our own pace. Knowing when to push and knowing when to back off is always a tricky balance. Remember: to grow we must go outside our own comfort levels.
