Virtual Children Camps

For a full-day experience, combine Afternoon with Artshine with Morning with Music. Get both camps for a discounted rate of $210.

Morning with Music for Ages 7-10

  • Date: July 5–9, 2021
  • Time: 10 a.m. – noon
  • Cost: $100, includes music book
  • Instructors: Nichole Robertson and Rebekah Jordan-Miller

Campers have the opportunity to participate in daily online piano activities, games, crafts, singing and more. This is a great introduction to the world of piano playing and music education and a perfect camp for children with limited or no musical experience. Music books included in the camp cost. Campers are responsible for their own access to a piano or electronic keyboard.

Afternoon with Artshine Ages 7-10

  • Date: July 5– 9, 2021
  • Time: 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Cost: $125, includes art supplies

Campers will create two art projects a day and each day will use a new art medium. The mediums include watercolour (pucks and tubes), markers, pastels and clay (puffy air-dry and plasticine). All art supplies are included in the camp cost.

Children's Ukulele Classes Ages 5-8

  • Date: July 6, 13, 20, 27 (Tuesdays)
  • Time: 10 - 10:30 a.m.
  • Cost: $60, does not include ukulele
  • Instructor: Jennifer Stacey

Students will have the opportunity to learn basic ukulele techniques, chords, and simple songs vitrually.

Note - We are also offering a Level 2 option for those that have prior ukulele training.

COVID-19 Update

The Beckett School at Laurier’s in-person summer camps have been cancelled for summer 2021 due to COVID-19.

We are working to be able to provide some online options which will be posted as soon as they are available.

Theory programs will be provided through online instruction and online private lessons will continue as scheduled.
