Academically, I hold a BMus in performance from the University of Manitoba, A Uitvoerend Musicus diploma from the Rotterdam Conservatory, and an MMus degree in organ performance from the University of Western Ontario.
I have given numerous recitals in Canada, the Netherlands and Germany as well as taught at various post-secondary institutions.
Presently, I teach at Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Waterloo and the Beckett School. Since 1988, I have been the director of music at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church.
My goal is for students to become intelligent, musical pianists with performance practice awareness. My aim is to give students technique that will enable them to play a broad range of repertoire, providing a base for unlimited future potential. It is a joy teaching a broad range of ages and levels while the student is gaining in proficiency and success as they explore and experience music.
