Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

April 11, 2017

The Stedman Community Bookstore at Laurier's Brantford campus is hosting a Young Writers' Prize for students enrolled in grades 11 and 12 at Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board or Grand Erie School Board secondary schools.

Contest Details

Write an original short story, 1,500 words or less, and record it.

Find your school's representative, hand in your story to that teacher. Deadlines are in October 2017. Ask your representative for your school's exact deadline.

Four stories from your highschool will be chosen and entered in the contest.

All entrants and school representatives are invited to the Gala awards dinner held in late January 2018 at the Laurier Branford campus.

Contact Ken Paradis with any questions.
