Lucas is a Harvard-trained educator and a lifelong learner who is passionate about teaching! He enjoys interacting, motivating and learning together with his students.
At Wilfrid Laurier University, Lucas has taught undergraduate and graduate students enrolled across a range of degree program specializations, including Arts, Business and Sustainability, English, Game Design and Development, History, Human Resource Management, North American Studies, Supply Chain Management, User Experience Design, etc.
Lucas' interdisciplinary background enables him to impactfully teach, guide and mentor Computer Science PhD students, Nuclear Engineering PhD students, Nursing PhD students, as well as PhD students from other disciplines, empowering them to excel in research with ethical considerations, advanced communication and writing skills, statistical rigour and the development of innovative solutions in artificial intelligence (AI), engineering, healthcare, finance and beyond.
