Dr. Lisa Devall-Martin is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education. She holds a EdD in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Education from Johns Hopkins University (2018), a MM from McGill University, a BEd from Charles Sturt University (Australia) and HBMus from Western University.
Her expertise in teachers' training stems from expertise as an elementary school teacher, school administrator and several years on faculty at Redeemer University's School of Education. She is committed to ensuring her teaching is innovative through purposefully designed transformative learning experiences based on the most recent research. Dr. Devall-Martin's passion to disrupt poverty through education is evident in her local and global engagement as president of Education-4-Change (Somali Region, Ethiopia). Her research interests beyond pre-service teacher education include exploring educators' identity and professional capacity building, as well as, global equitable access to education.
