I received my PhD in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway University of London (2015), MPhil in Modern South Asian Studies (2001) from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Religious Studies (1999) from the University of Calgary.
My research interests include the relationship between the global economy and social conflict as well as the formation of environmental policy at the community level. I am currently investigating the ways positive and lasting social outcomes can be achieved in an era of global climate change, increased social conflicts and financial collapse. I have a particular interest in the process of Truth and Reconciliation in Canada as a framework for social innovation and lasting change for First Nations communities across the country.
I would be interested in supervision opportunities in the areas of global political economy, South Asia and social innovation and entrepreneurship in the contexts of climate change, social conflict and financial collapse.
