I received my master’s degree in foreign languages and civilizations with a specialization in teaching from the Sorbonne Nouvelle, in Paris, in 1983.
I have been teaching in Canada for 32 years, the last 24 years at Wilfrid Laurier University. My other teaching assignments included the University of Waterloo and the University of Guelph.
I am an experienced, detail-oriented, reliable, lively, dedicated and adaptable professor with a strong background in language education. I have well-developed communication skills and I enjoy pursuing my career in an environment where my skills make a positive contribution. I also teach beginner, intermediate and advanced French to private students and corporate clients.
My main focus is classroom teaching, using an interactive approach, sharing my knowledge of French culture, encouraging and helping students develop their own way of learning.
My interests are the arts, translation, poetry writing (in English and French), reading and dancing.
