I am an interdisciplinary health researcher and evaluator. Before joining Laurier in June 2026, I was a scientist at the International Livestock Research Institute where I led impact assessments of health and development initiatives in Africa and Asia. I completed a science policy fellowship at the Public Health Agency of Canada and hold a PhD (Public Health), an MPH, and a BSc (Biochemistry) from the University of Guelph. I also hold the Credentialed Evaluator designation and have over 10 years of experience providing evaluation consulting services to government, research, and international development organizations.
My work focuses on evaluating and improving solutions to complex health challenges, such as zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and climate change risks. I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary, One Health, and global health approaches to addressing these challenges, as well as in advancing the practice of research and evaluation. In collaboration with partners in Canada and internationally, I aim to generate evidence that strengthens programs, policies, and practice.
