When you are completing the Data Science (BSc) program, you will learn to analyze patterns and models for all kinds of data. Sample courses include discrete mathematics, algorithm design, AI and machine learning.
Co-op gives you the opportunity to develop skills and gain real-world experience while completing three paid work terms lasting up to four months each.
You apply for admission to co-op at the beginning of second year and may be eligible for an admission interview in November.
If you are admitted to co-op, you will get assistance with career planning, job search and interview preparation through the Fundamentals of Co-operative Education course. You will then apply to job postings and attend interviews.
