Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

The fee for the Lazaridis EMTM is $67,500 (CDN) and covers everything you will need to successfully complete the program, including:

  • Tuition for all courses.
  • Meals and refreshments during weekend sessions.
  • Incidental fees.
  • Textbooks.
  • One-week residency in the Silicon Valley.
  • Supporting materials.

Costs are payable in three equal installments prior to each term.

Participants living outside a 100km radius from Laurier's Waterloo campus may be eligible for accommodation coverage during the weekend sessions.

Note: Health and dental insurance is not included in the program fee. All students are automatically registered for health and dental insurance but may opt out prior to the start of the program. The university reserves the right to assess miscellaneous charges as applicable.

We are pleased to offer a limited number of entrance scholarships, ranging from $5,000 to $20,000, to outstanding applicants to the Lazaridis EMTM program. Recipients are selected by the Awards Committee and notified prior to the start of the program. You are eligible to receive only one program scholarship.

There are different options available for financing your education. You may choose to self-finance your degree or request corporate sponsorship from your employer.

Corporate Sponsorship

Investing in high-potential employees is an investment in the future of the company. Organizations that sponsor their high achievers will see an immediate return:

  • The knowledge and skills acquired by the learner can be applied immediately to strengthen the organization.
  • It fosters a rewarding environment for employees, which will help to attract and retain top talent.
  • It encourages employee loyalty by recognizing that employees are critical to an organization’s success.

We encourage you to discuss corporate sponsorship with your organization at the early stages of the application process. Please connect with our office for resources to start the conversation, including a letter for corporate sponsorship.

If you pay all or part of your tuition fees yourself, a Tuition Tax Credit is available. Consult with a professional tax advisor for more information.

Personal Loans

Lazaridis EMTM students may be eligible for a professional credit line with the Royal Bank of Canada. For more information, please contact Jared Estrada at RBC:
