Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

The Lazaridis EMTM provides an educational experience that prepares leaders with the skills to last the entirety of their professional career. As the business and technology landscape changes significantly year-over-year, our goal is to educate our learners in the fundamentals of business while providing them with the skills necessary to be nimble and innovative in light of potential industry, culture and career changes.

Our executive management program is designed for impact that is both immediate and ongoing. After only a few sessions, our candidates are able to begin implementing new strategies at their organizations. They gain better leadership capabilities and the confidence to creatively address a broad range of business challenges.

Candidates frequently advance to more senior roles and become greater contributors to organizational success even before graduation.

Perhaps one of the most significant long-term benefits of the program is the lifelong relationships formed with fellow classmates, Laurier faculty and participating guest lecturers from top-tier universities and companies. This community is composed of exceptional leaders across many of Canada's largest and most innovative enterprises.

What Our EMTM Network is Saying

Networking Opportunities

Lazaridis EMTM learners have access to a wide network of technology industry experts including their cohort, EMTM alumni, special guest speakers and the Golden Triangle Angel Networking (GTAN), an accredited investor group with close to 100 members from the Toronto-Waterloo Region Corridor. Additionally, our candidates are regularly invited to relevant talks and networking events hosted by groups such as Communitech and the Conference Board of Canada.
