Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

The Lazaridis Executive Master's in Technology Management (Lazaridis EMTM) curriculum provides you with the expertise to manage and lead innovative enterprises. The program is built on theme-based learning to create a highly engaging experience. You will be equipped with the relevant knowledge needed to deal with complex problems at your organization. You will also gain insight from the expertise and shared experiences of an elite network of peers.

Over the duration of the program, you will complete three modules and 10 core courses. Our courses focus on multiple aspects of leading an organization in a technology-driven economy, including mergers and acquisitions of tech companies, strategic management, marketing technological innovation and sales. The three modules provide overarching themes: internal and external overview of firms, building innovative organizational capacities and fostering organizational renewal. As a candidate, you will advance from specialized knowledge in your current role to a strong understanding of all conversations at the executive table.

We recognize the need for balance. The Lazaridis EMTM program enables you to attain an advanced education whilst maintaining your busy career and personal life.

Starting in September, the program takes 11 months to complete. Participants meet on alternating weekends (Friday and Saturday) in Waterloo, Ontario. Courses are delivered in a blended learning format, with a combination of face-to-face and online sessions.
