Print | PDFOver the course of last year, 15 Laurier instructors were recognized for their dedication, engagement and passion for teaching. Among them was the recipient of Canada’s top teaching honour, the 3M National Teaching Fellowship. Additionally, two Laurier professors received the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA) Teaching Award, an achievement awarded to only six instructors across the province each year. The Laurier instructors were celebrated at a reception in early February.
“The thing that stands out to me about each of these extraordinary teachers is the important connections they make with their students and their passion for teaching, which in turn motivates their students and inspires in them a love for learning,” said Pat Rogers, associate vice-president: Teaching and Learning at Laurier.
