WATERLOO – On Nov. 4, prime minister-designate Justin Trudeau and his new cabinet will be sworn in by the Governor General.

There are several Laurier experts available to comment on the new cabinet:

John Milloy, practitioner-in-residence in Laurier’s Political Science department and assistant professor of public ethics and co-director for the Centre for Public Ethics at Waterloo Lutheran Seminary, is a former Ontario cabinet minister, member of provincial parliament for Kitchener Centre and senior adviser to the former Prime Minister, Jean Chrétien. He is an expert on election campaigns, strategy and minority governments. Contact information:

Barry Kay, associate professor in Laurier’s Political Science department, is an expert on public opinion and elections, the politics of policy making and Canadian and American politics. His recent research has focused on electoral systems, public opinion polls and single-issue interest groups.
