Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

I live and work in Brantford, Ontario. My art and approach to life pay respect to the earth, the innocence of nature and the power of the elements. My art incorporates images of houses, farmland and wildlife that populate my work in various quantities. There are dense subdivisions, sporadically strewn farm houses, fishing villages and creatures – all a part of the surroundings in which we dwell.
I use various materials that are often repurposed and reclaimed: plaster, wood, metal scraps and many types of paint. The result is often guided by the strength of the medium. Imperfections and 'scars' on my work come from the re-using of materials and the obvious marks made by time – they become part of the piece and make each one a unique, imperfect being.
