Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

For those families in need of financial assistance, there are a limited number of bursaries available. Please note that LEAP may not be able to fill all funding requests.

LEAP has been fortunate to receive bursary funding from the following organizations:

  • The Kiwanis Club of Elmira
  • The Kiwanis Club of North Waterloo
  • The Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation: The Waterloo Region Record and the Lyle S. Hallman Foundation Kids to Camp Fund

We greatly appreciate all the support provided from these organizations. Thank you for making campers’ LEAP goals a reality!

Application Process

Complete the Bursary Application Form (two pages) to apply for financial assistance. Bursary applications will be reviewed as they are received and we will contact you to verify whether your request has been approved.

If you have already registered your child in a camp but are interested in receiving bursary help in the form of a partial or full refund, please indicate that on the application form.
