Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Fourth-Year Psychology with Legal Studies Option

Hello future Golden Hawks!

My name is Scott Stewart, and I am in the Psychology program with an option in Legal Studies. Choosing to go to Laurier was an easy decision for me. When I first toured Laurier I saw how spirited the school was, which really appealed to me, this is when I decided to attend Laurier.

During my first year at Laurier, I was provided with countless opportunities to get involved with the school. I have been a part of Residence Athletic Council, hiring and recruitment for Students Union, intramurals, Psychology Society, Society of Undergraduate Research and Outreach, describing university life at my high school representing Laurier, a Leadership Conference Delegate, and an Orientation Week leader.

The Laurier community has not only become my new home, but has become a place I love. Through the high-spirited community and the endless opportunities given to me, I knew Laurier was the place for me.

I hope you come for a campus tour, and I can show you why Laurier is also the place for you!
