Laurier has taken significant steps to do our part in the national and global effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus. The fastest and safest path to a full campus reopening is for everyone to protect themselves and those among us who are most vulnerable to the virus. Honest, accurate and frequent health monitoring plays a critical role in these efforts and is a requirement for everyone attending campus.
Student safety is a top priority for the university. The COVID-19 self-assessment on the SAFEHawk app is designed to be used by students who are living on our campuses before they access approved spaces or services. Completing the self-assessment is required under the university’s COVID-19 safety protocols.
The university is currently operating in a restricted access environment. During the province-wide state of emergency, only essential employees are approved to attend campus. Please check with your manager for more information. Those approved to attend campus must review and understand Laurier's COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures, complete the COVID-19 Health and Safety Training, and are required to complete the COVID-19 Self-Assessment each day that they plan to attend campus.
Beginning on Jan. 11, 2021 all staff and faculty approved to attend campus, either on a permanent or ad-hoc basis, will be required to complete their daily COVID-19 Self-Assessment through the Laurier SAFEHawk App.
Visitors and those without Lauirer SSO credentials will still be permitted to submit their daily COVID-19 Self-Assessment through the online forms:
If you have any questions related to the COVID-19 self-assessment, please reach out to email@example.com.
