Stacey Keller is the CEO and Founder of Ponyback Inc.
She is also a local high school business teacher at Galt Collegiate Institute and a Laurier Alumni who has always dreamed of starting a business. That dream came true in June 2020 when she officially launched Ponyback Inc.!
As a teacher, Stacey truly values belonging and inclusivity. Her tag line, “Your style fits here.” Not only describes the flexibility of her hat to accommodate many hairstyles, but a sense belonging she hopes her customers feel from her brand.
Ponyback solves the hair/hat problem that so many women and girls have faced. No more adjusting your pony/bun height when you grab your hat, no more strange looking permanent openings that look funny with your hair down. Just flexibility, comfort and quality.
Ponyback was designed for people who wear their hair both up and down, whether its in a high or low ponytail or even a messy bun. Ponyback has closable magnetic (patent-pending) opening in the back of the hat that allows you to pull your hair through or simply wear it as normal hat (with no weird hole).
Stacey came up with the idea, when she was looking for a pony tail hat, but didn't like that if she wanted to wear her hair down, she was stuck wearing a hat with a hole in the back of it. This is when the idea for Ponyback was born!
You belong here (and so does your hairstyle).
