My research focuses on higher education policy, governance, and funding, with a particular emphasis on performance-based funding (PBF) and its impact on institutional decision-making, organizational behaviour, and workforce outcomes. Drawing on insights from Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour (HR/OB), I examine how funding models influence leadership practices, employee experiences, and institutional responses to performance pressures. I am especially interested in equity, inclusion, and the role of higher education institutions in advancing Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4). My current work explores administrators’ perceptions of PBF in Ontario universities and its implications for organizational and educational outcomes.
