Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

In the very first semester, students work in groups to answer a strategic business question posted by a real company. Students study the situation and develop a detailed recommendation and implementation plan.

A panel of industry experts evaluates the proposals and awards cash prizes to the top six teams. If you would like to be a panelist for the Live Case Competition, contact Emma Twells, Immersive Learning Coordinator at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics.
