Consider expanding your decolonizing journey, by completing one of our wholistic professional development certificates. From the Decolonizing Education Certificate, to the Indigenous Research Series, these workshops offer an immersive look into a world beyond colonization.
The Decolonizing Education Certificate is designed for individuals who want to develop their capacity to understand Indigenous perspectives in the history of colonization to contemporary realities in Canada.
This certificate has been developed to build capacity among educators and anyone interested in responding to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada's (TRC) calls for action in a meaningful way.
Cost: $520.00 + HST (per module)
The Indigenous Peoples Certificate in Indigegogy is designed for Indigenous people from across Turtle Island who wish to develop their ability and capacity for bringing their own Indigenous ways of knowing and learning to their work and life. These modules will provide an opportunity for Indigenous people to learn together in a culturally-based manner to build capacity and participate in training in an experiential manner using Indigegogy practices. Participants will build their capacity to apply their new knowledge into community specific and culturally relevant contexts within their specific Indigenous territories, traditions, languages, cultures and workplace.

Are you considering doing program evaluation, needs identification, or inquiring into a topic of interest in Indigenous contexts or within Indigenous communities? Do you wish you could learn more about Indigenous research? These sessions will offer researchers, community workers and educators invaluable information to inform research projects. They offer lived experience, rich dialogue and a safe space to explore and learn together and as a result you will become a more ethical and conscious re-searcher.
In this workshop series, participants will explore some of the following questions:
Participants will learn about research done by Indigenous peoples and will have the opportunity to bring their learning needs into the workshops. This series will generate collaborative learning using mixed methods approaches of circle work, ceremony, instruction, dialogue and sharing of research projects.

The Wholistic Healing Practices and Colonial Trauma Certificate is designed to assist participants in understanding trauma from a decolonial lens, and address the ongoing structural violence against Indigenous people & communities. This certificate was developed with the desire to give practitioners and helpers the knowledge and skills to decolonize their practice and develop a foundation for wholistic healing practices.
Cost: $350.00 + HST (per module)**

The Centre for Indigegogy works to maintain the principles of Indigegogy and Indigenous Circle protocols both online and in-person! Consider creating your own sacred space, wherever you're learning from. This can include medicines, a smudge bowl, a drum etc.
