Since 2004, I have been responsible for coordinating, organizing and teaching chemistry labs at Laurier. Instruction includes: first year, analytical, instrumental, organic, inorganic, physical and bioorganic chemistry. In the current academic year, I will be teaching labs in analytical, instrumental, organic and inorganic chemistry.
MSc research was conducted under Dr. Vladimir Kitaev and Dr. Ken Maly and included chemical education as well as synthesis, characterization and applications of silver, gold-palladium, iron oxyhydroxide, magnetite and cobalt ferrite nanostructures. Current research interests lie in chemical education.
