Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Congratulations to Grace Leahy who has won the inaugural Beckett School at Laurier Concerto Competition.

For Grace "it is a privilege to be able to play a concerto with an orchestra, it has always been something that I have aspired to do. I am very grateful for this opportunity and very excited to perform!"

Grace will perform the first movement of the Piano Concerto No. 1 in g minor, Op. 25 by Mendelssohn with the Laurier Symphony Orchestra on Feb. 2 at 7:30 p.m. in the Maureen Forrester Recital Hall.

Tickets are available in advance through TicketScene.
