I joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in 1979 and remained with the orchestra until 2005. I have performed multiple times as guest principal oboist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and have held principal oboe positions with the Oklahoma Symphony and the Kitchener–Waterloo Symphony.
I held principal positions with the U.S. Air Force Symphony Orchestra, Band, and performed throughout the U.S.A. with the Air Force Woodwind Quintet.
I have performed at Tanglewood and in Symphony Hall in Boston with their orchestra. I performed on tour with the Boston Symphony at Carnegie Hall in New York and have performed many times with the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa.
I studied with the principal oboist of the Boston Symphony, Ralph Gomberg, receiving my BM from Boston University. I also received a Master's degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
