Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Print | PDFBack by popular demand, we are pleased that our Chamber Music and Performing Arts Camp will be offered again this summer. This camp is dedicated entirely to group music-making! There are no age restrictions on this camp but note-reading is a requirement. Participants will be placed in instrumental duos, trios, quartets, and quintets and will be assigned repertoire based on their instrument and level.
This year, those participants who choose the full day option will have the opportunity to participate in either the Early Music Consort Ensemble on historical instruments (harpsichords, recorders, viol da gambas, etc.) OR in the FoundSound Percussion Ensemble.
Each participant will have the opportunity to sign up for private lessons (on their main instrument or a new instrument!) between 3 and 4 p.m. with one of the instructors involved in the Chamber Camp. Instrument rentals are up to the student. The rate is $30 for 30-minutes or $60 for 60-minutes.
Full day participants will also have the opportunity to experience a workshop on Alexander Technique (an educational process that explores our activities - like music-making! - through movement, sensing and thinking so that we can do what we wish to do with gentleness and ease).
