Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

I began studying violin at the age of four, and piano at the age of eight, under the instruction of Naomi Wratten. In 2009 I was awarded the Richard Blaha Memorial Silver Tray for best overall performance across all disciplines at the Brant Music Festival.
In my teens, I studied at the Glenn Gould School’s Young Artist’s program. My performance experience has included solo debuts with the Kitchener-Waterloo Youth Orchestra, Cambridge Community Orchestra, Wilfrid Laurier University Symphony and Kitchener Waterloo Symphony. In 2012, my string quartet was selected as the winner of the Penderecki String Quartet Award. In 2013, I had the privilege of performing across Canada as a selected member of the National Youth Orchestra.
I now hold a Bachelor of Music (BMus) in Performance from Laurier, as well as her ARCT certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music for both violin and piano.
I have been teaching private music lessons since I was 14 years old. I enjoy the opportunities that teaching and performing bring to my life, and I enjoy sharing my love of music with others.
