I received my PhD in Philosophy from Western University in 2012, but have been teaching with the Communication Studies department since 2004. In Philosophy, I do a lot of work in the theory of knowledge, and the philosophy of science. In Communication Studies, these interests take an interesting twist. I am deeply interested in the way that technology mediates our knowledge, and how the history of technology is related to the history of scientific thought, and how both have an interesting reciprocal relationship with communication and culture.
Really, I am just a nerd for the history of ideas! Come and chat if you are a nerd like me!
