At the beginning of February, I attended the Universities Canada Univation forum in Ottawa with two of Laurier’s Master of Education students: Sharline Doss and Adam Rooke. The conference brought together leaders at universities and in business with students and entrepreneurs to examine how universities can best prepare students for the future.

Deborah MacLatchy was formally installed as the new president and vice-chancellor of Wilfrid Laurier University on Oct. 27, 2017. She is the seventh person and the second woman to serve in the role since Laurier became a public institution in 1973.
