Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy and inspires your hopes.” – Andrew Carnegie
I chose to come to Laurier Brantford primarily because of the small town feel it had. Coming from a small town myself, I was looking to immerse myself into a community rather than into the busy life of a larger style university! I understood that faculty-to-student ratios would be lower and there would be more of an opportunity to get involved and this was a really attractive quality in deciding on this campus!
