Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Co-op for BTM Students

When you are completing the Business Technology Management (BTM) program, you will gain traditional business skills, the latest knowledge of technology and courses in leadership and liberal arts. You will learn to assess the value technology brings to an organization and how it can best be integrated with existing systems.

How BTM Co-op Works

Co-op gives you the opportunity to develop skills and gain real-world experience while completing paid work terms.

If you choose to participate in co-op, and meet the requirements, you will get assistance with career planning, job search and interview preparation through the Fundamentals of Co-operative Education course. You will then apply to job postings and attend interviews

Course Sequencing

Students in the BTM co-op program complete an eight-month work term from September through April and a four-month work term from September through December.
