PhD in Management, Organizational Behaviour/Human Resources Management
I chose to complete my graduate work at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics because my research interests were aligned with the expertise of my supervisor.
My research is focused largely on recruitment, selection, and performance appraisals. In industry, these topics are critical to the HR function of organizations, and I wanted to understand more about how and why they are effective.
I also hope to explore different ways of improving these processes, to not only contribute to the recruitment, selection, and performance appraisal literature, but to also highlight some practical implications for HR professionals to consider moving forward.
