Bursary Information for Graduate Students for One Term Fall 2013

Bursary assistance is available for graduate students in a full time program in the fall (and if applicable, spring terms only).

Bursaryapplications for full time graduate studentsin class for the fall termonly (not in class for the winter 2014 term) were available online on LORIS in early September, andwill be assessed and granted bursary assistance (if applicable) laterin the fall term.

The deadline for submission was October 16, 2013, 11:59 pm.

Graduate students in an approvedfull time program are eligible to apply for bursary assistance for each term they are in classes (however not while on a work term placement).

  • fall term bursary applications for students in the co-op program or whoare inclass for the Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 termswere available onlineon LORIS. For the fall term, the submission deadline was October 16, applications for spring term assistance will be available online on spring 2014.
  • NOTE: thisprogram only applies to graduatestudents whoare registered as a full timestudent in the Fall 2013 academic term, whoare not in class full timein the Winter 2014 academic term.
  • One term bursary applications that are submitted in the fall term (Fall 2013 only)will beprocessed late in the fall term, all otherbursary applications are processed after the January 20, 2014 deadline.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: all graduate students are required to complete an OSAP application for the terms that they are in school full time. This is a requirement of our general bursary program, and further details on this requirement can be found online.
  • If the application is not on your LORIS account during the program timelines, and you feel that you meet the eligibility criteria, you can request the application by emailing the Student Awards Office ( prior to the October 16 deadline.
