To achieve our objective of providing intensive graduate training to students in the international dimensions of public policy, students complete three consecutive academic terms of course work. In each of the second and third terms, students choose to specialize in one of the two fields offered in that term.
The curriculum design in each field consists of course work and an interdisciplinary seminar (IDS). The field courses approach international public policy from different academic perspectives while in the seminar students are challenged to integrate these different perspectives and to examine issues using a multidisciplinary framework.
At the end of the three terms, students have developed a strong skills foundation and substantial depth in two key areas of international public policy.
