Concurrent Education Exchange
The Student Exchange Program within Laurier International offers students the opportunity to study and enrich their learning of the world outside of Canada. Students in Concurrent Education are also able to participate in an exchange for either the Fall term of their fifth year, or for all of fourth year. If students choose to do an exchange for the whole of fourth year, they must request a leave from Nipissing University, which will delay their program by one year.
Students must meet with an advisor to discuss eligibility. It is recommended to be a 0.5 credit ahead and complete the required and optional classes on the worksheet, as well as completed teachable(s) if applicable. Students must also attend a mandatory Laurier International information session in the Fall term before they intend on leaving (for example, the Fall term of year 3 before leaving in 4th year, or the Fall term of year 4 before leaving in Fall if year 5).For more information about the Student Exchange program and the application proccess, please visit Laurier International and the Student Exchange Program page.
