Association of Political Science Students

Hello Political Science majors,

The Political Science Association has undergone a year of transformation, we felt that the PSA did not previously serve the best interests of our students and a reboot was required. The Association of Political Science Students (APSS) has taken its place and with a new name, new logos, a new club constitution, and a refined focus the club is better situated to provide for students in the future.

The purpose of the Association of Political Science Students at Laurier is to foster social interaction between politically involved and motivated students, to provide academic and professional networking opportunities for interested students, and to support and further the efforts of the study of political science on campus.

We are a registered student association at Laurier under the Council for the Intellectual and Cultural Development of the Arts (CICDA) as an Arts Club Council member.

The APSS provides for students two unique opportunities. We have two ways for undergraduate students to become published in scholarly journals. The first is through the Laurier Undergraduate Journal of the Arts (LUJA) and the second is through our membership in the International Association of Political Science Students (IAPSS).

We invite you to 'Like' our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter, and email us any questions you have regarding the APSS. We have a schedule of events for this Winter semester that we will be announcing shortly and encourage you to keep an eye on our social media platforms for dates and times.
