Spring Convocation 2016 Waterloo campus ceremonies will take place from June 13th - 17th
Confirm with your graduate the date and time of their ceremony.
All ceremonies will be hosted in the Athletic Complex.If you are from out of town, the Waterloo Region's Where To Stay page has a list of available accommodations for you to explore
Parking will be available free of charge on campus, though we do recommend carpooling as space will be limited.
The doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony start time for guests to select their seats. Please check with you graduate if tickets are needed to attend the ceremony.
There will be a designated area for family and friends to take photographs.
A photographer will be taking on-stage photos of all the graduates. Grads will receive an e-mail link to view and purchase proofs within a month of the ceremony.
Candid photos from the ceremonies will be accessible on our Flickr page 2 weeks following the ceremony.
Convocation is a public event and photographers will be taking photos. By entering this area, you consent to having your photograph taken. Event photos and video may be used in print or online communications, including the Laurier website. If you would not like to have your photograph taken, please inform the photographer. Degree and diploma frames may be pre-ordered or purchased on the day of Convocation. For more information please click here. Proceeds from frames purchased on the day-of help to support student programming and events. During and after the ceremonies volunteers from the Student Alumni Association will be offering complimentary degree framing on sit. Please direct any questions to email@example.com.
Rings, flowers, and other memorabilia will be available for purchase at Convocation around the track of the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex. Gifts can also be purchased through the Bookstore.
Receptions will be held following each ceremony, unless otherwise noted, for students and their guests to enjoy light refreshments and celebrate their time at Laurier.
