Alumna Allyson McHardy and faculty member Kimberly Barber’s production of Dead Man Walking wins a Prix OPUS

The Opéra de Montréal’s production of Heggie’s Dead Man Walking was named the Musical Event of the Year (2012-2013) at the annual Gala announcing the winners of the Prix Opus, held on January 26th, 2014 at the Bourgie du Musée des beaux – arts de Montréal. Congratulations to all involved!

Allyson McHardy, a Laurier graduate, played Sister Helen Prejean, and Laurier faculty member Kimberly Barber played Mrs. Patrick De Rocher, mother of the convicted prisoner. Congratulations to Allyson and Kimberly on their wonderful performances.
