United Way contest challenges Laurier's Waterloo community to donate change
You can make a large change in your community with a little change from your pocket. Wilfrid Laurier University's Waterloo campus is holding a contest to see who can collect the most change, and all proceeds collected will be donated to this year’s United Way Campaign.
The "Change for Change" challenge: Starting Oct. 13, set up a change jar on the Waterloo campus. Make sure that it will attract attention, because prizes will be awarded for the most money raised and for the most creative jar. Jars will be judged Oct. 27, when the contest ends at noon.
If you are interested in competing, contact Sandra Castellanos at email@example.com to sign up.
