Register for Andrew Westoll's writing workshop on March 18

Interested in magazine writing? Want to get published, but donít know how to get started?
Andrew Westoll, Laurier's Edna Staebler Writer-in-Residence, is offering a creative non-fiction writing workshop March 18 for students and members of the Laurier community.
The workshop is an opportunity to develop writing skills, get hands-on experience and tips, and learn more about the publishing industry in Canada.
When: Monday, March 18, 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 pm
Where: The Library at Laurier's Waterloo campus, 3rd Floor, Room 314
Westoll is the author of The Chimps of Fauna Sanctuary, which won the Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction and was named a Book of the Year by The Globe and Mail in 2012. He is a Gold National Magazine Award winner and his writing has appeared in The Walrus, Canadian Geographic, The Globe and The Guardian.
