BRANTFORD – With recent media attention on high-profile celebrities and their relationships, today’s high school and post-secondary students may have a difficult time dealing with an unhealthy sexual culture. Mike Domitrz, critically acclaimed author and dating expert, will present “Can I Kiss You?” Jan. 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts, 88 Dalhousie Street, Brantford.
Domitrz will share a simple approach to intimacy, including effective communication and showing respect for one another.
Domitrz is the author of May I Kiss You?, which is used as a relationship model for people of all ages. His DVD, Help! My Teen is Dating, is endorsed by educators, parents and professionals around the world.
“Mike has an incredible way of talking about sensitive issues around relationships and intimacy that is honest, thought-provoking and entertaining,” said Melissa Burke, diversity and leadership coordinator in the Student Life and Engagement office. “We are extremely pleased that Mike has agreed to come to campus and encourage students, parents and anyone interested to attend.”
The event is sponsored by the Laurier Brantford Student Life and Engagement office, Women’s Campus Safety Committee and the PRISM fund. It is open to the community.
