Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Wilfrid Laurier University faculty and staff will be taking over Canadian Blood Services’ Bridgeport Clinic in Waterloo April 24 from 1-3 p.m.

You can help the university's faculty and staff contribute to the 350 blood donations needed each week in Kitchener-Waterloo. To make a life-saving donation on April 24, contact Adrianna Crusoe, Laurier's community relations coordinator.

It takes about one hour to donate. If you are not free during this timeframe, please contact Adrianna Crusoe to learn how to sign-up for another time April 24, and have your donation included in Laurier’s pledge.

If you are unsure if you are eligible to donate, please visit the eligibility site, or call 1-888-2-Donate to talk to a nurse. For more information, please visit Canadian Blood Services website
