Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Students must complete and submit a "General Student Profile" by 11:59 p.m. on Sept. 30, 2015 to be considered for this year’s competitive scholarships, awards and donor-supported bursaries. Don’t forget to submit your profile!

How to complete the scholarship process:

  • Log in to your LORIS account.
  • Access the "Student Awards and Financial Aid" tab at the top of the webpage.
  • Click on the "Apply for Student Funding" link that will take you to the student profiles area.
  • Complete the “General Student Profile."

Students who complete and submit the "General Student Profile" have the opportunity to receive and complete further profiles. This approach of submitting student profiles maximizes the number of opportunities that you may be considered for without you having to submit numerous individual award applications to the Student Awards Office. The Student Awards Office will automatically consider you for all scholarship opportunities and donor-supported bursaries that fit your program and year of study, as well as your particular interests and volunteer experiences.

Note: Once you have accessed the “Apply for Student Funding” profiles, these opportunities will then be shown in the “View My Applications” link under the "Student Awards and Financial Aid" tab.

Additional profiles and applications, if applicable, are available on LORIS in early October. Email communications will be sent as additional applications become available online. The Student Awards Office encourages all students to submit their profiles on LORIS as they become available.
