Waterloo – The 89th Academy Awards will take place on Feb. 26, 2017.

The following Laurier experts are available to comment on the event:

Sandra Annett, associate professor in Laurier’s Department of English and Film Studies, is an expert in animated film, Japanese film and digital new media. She is available to comment on aspects of film production, including special effects, digital cinema, animated film nominees and general trends in Hollywood. Contact information: sannett@wlu.ca.

Peter Kuling, instructor in Laurier's Department of Communication Studies, is an expert in film history and cinematography, visual communication culture, theatre and performance studies.
