Academic Background
BSc, PhD University of Toronto
Biography
My academic career has been very rewarding. Following a PhD in theoretical/computational chemistry at the University of Toronto I was a Research Associate at the University of Chicago and a University Research Fellow at the University of Ottawa before joining the Chemistry Department at Wilfrid Laurier University where I am now Professor of Chemistry. I am also Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the University of Waterloo.  I have been a visiting scientist at the Fields Institute in Toronto, the Agency for Industrial Science and Technology in Japan (where I was a STA fellow), and the Centre of Theoretical Chemistry and Physics in New Zealand (with support from the Massey University International Visitor Research Fund).

My NSERC-funded research program is focused on several inter-related areas of theoretical and computational chemistry.
