Biography


Dr. Marrone is a behavioural neuroscientist who studies neurophysiology and gene expression related to learning and memory, with a particular emphasis on the neurobiology of ageing and age-related disease. He joined the Department of Psychology at Wilfrid Laurier University in July 2007.

Dr. Marrone received his Masterís degree in 2002, and his PhD in 2004 in the Department of Psychology and the interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience at the University of Toronto with Dr. Ted L. Petit. He then joined the Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Institute as a post-doctoral fellow working with Drs. Carol A. Barnes and Bruce L.
