Join us at Laurier

Becoming a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

You’re here to learn, and we’re here to help you succeed. Having trouble writing an essay? Taking notes? Choosing classes? Don’t be shy. Ask for help – we’re happy to give it!

Academic Advising and Support

Our Academic Advising and Support services can help you plan your program requirements and ensure you develop the necessary writing and study skills to succeed academically.

Undergraduate academic advisors, can help you with course selection, transfer information, graduate options and more.

Enrolment Services

Our Service Laurier offices on both our Waterloo and Brantford campuses are your one-stop shop for all enrolment services, including course registration, financial aid, and scholarships and bursaries.

Incoming Student Support

As an incoming student, you have access to programs and services that will help prepare you for your studies and navigate your new learning environment. Laurier 101, our comprehensive incoming student support program, is designed to provide you with support during the summer months and throughout your first year to answer any questions you have along the way. This is your exclusive guide to learning what it’s like to be a Golden Hawk.

Laurier 101 is available to all incoming undergraduate students whether you are coming from high school, transferring from another college or university, have taken some time off, or are a mature learner, so plan ahead to participate so you don’t miss out. We also have events and programs for your parents and supporters to navigate this journey alongside you.
