Join us at Laurier

Being a Golden Hawk means more than just cheering on our (really good) varsity teams – it means being a student who cares about your community, who works hard in the classroom, and who takes advantage of all the learning opportunities that can happen outside the classroom, too.

Laurier offers an online Headstart transition program for international students who cannot attend Headstart in person this the summer.

You will be able to take part online from anywhere in the world. The presentations will provide information about living and learning at Laurier, including an introduction to living in residence, an overview of the academic expectations you will have to meet, the support services we have to help you with your studies, and an introduction to the city that will be your home while you are studying at Laurier. You will be able to chat with the presenters, so the presentation is your chance to get answers to the questions you have about Laurier and what it is like to be a Laurier student.

To view a presentation, you will need to register in advance. Registration information will be posted shortly. Our live-streamed, interactive Headstart International presentations take place on the following dates:

Waterloo campus

Brantford campus

The sessions will be recorded and posted, so if you cannot see the presentation live you can always view it afterward.
