Nomination Form - Senate Committee Vacancies Open to All Full-Time Faculty
Please use this form to nominate full-time faculty members (self-nominations welcome) to fill vacancies on Senate standing committees. All positions start on July 1, 2014.
For your information, membership terms are normally three years in duration except for student positions (one year). Some terms are shorter, in cases where a person is elected to complete an unexpired/vacant term.

If only one candidate runs for a position, that candidate is acclaimed upon approval of the Nominating Committee report at the May 2014 Senate meeting. If multiple candidates put their name forward for a position, those candidates will be contacted by the Secretariat. If multiple candidates wish to have their names stand for the same position, an election will be held by electronic vote after the May 2014 Senate meeting. Candidates will be required to provide a short biography for the purposes of the election.
